In Stock! Just released here in the USA and including a ten-year Schimmel factory warranty, the Schimmel F123 upright piano is an incredible value for someone who is otherwise being forced to look at used pianos. The solid workmanship, exquisite choice of materials and clean styling in its German heritage shines thru. At 49” tall and featuring a Bavarian spruce soundboard, German Roslau piano wire, all maple action parts and cold pressed hammers, it guarantees a truly European sound experience. With its bigger height, the F123 piano can be counted as one of Schimmels larger upright pianos. Due to the larger soundboard, the range of colors are particularly intense in this model. Its wide dynamic range of sound makes this piano a perfect partner for ambitious piano players.

Before you go spending more money on a lesser Japanese brand you owe it to yourself to come over and try one of these fine European quality instruments. Complete with an adjustable height artist bench and a delightful little gift box from Schimmel (as a way of saying thank you for your purchase) this is a piano that exemplifies a touch and sound that inspires enthusiasm for beginners, as well as advanced musicians.

Background

The newest design in the Fridolin series, the Schimmel Fridolin F123 Upright Piano is ideal for those hoping to purchase an instrument from the legendary piano makers at an affordable price. Many of the components are European in origin, including Roslau strings and German hammers; and all the pianos undergo strict oversight and quality control from Schimmel.

Specifications

All Fridolins are designed with a Maple action to ensure a fast response, with the action being based on the technical design of similar concert grand pianos. With the distinctly Schimmel bright tone, there can be little doubt about this piano's DNA.

The soundboards are all AAA solid spruce, which, compared to its Japanese brethren, gives the Schimmel Fridolin F123 the harmony of appearance and sound of a European piano. And the hammers use German felt to guarantee a fast, clear response.

With numerous awards for design, the Schimmel Fridolin F123 is no exception. The clean, crisp visual lines give the piano a gorgeous and unmistakably Schimmel appearance – particularly with the brass detailing.

History

Few piano makers can boast over 130 years of innovations and experience; Schimmel can. From the first pianos that Wilhelm Schimmel designed and produced, the company proved its dedication to musical quality. The same is clearly evident in the Schimmel Fridolin F123 Upright Piano.

As part of a new chapter in the company's history, the F123 is the perfect piano for a practice room or teaching studio. This is an all-around favorite, being an excellent investment for value-conscious beginners wanting more scope for advancement.
