Here is a great opportunity for someone to jump on. A 2007 Kawai K-3 in ebony polish. At 48" tall it is big enough to provide a full rich bass with a long sustain but also has a lovely singing quality to its upper registers. Featuring the revolutionary Millennium III Upright Action which represents the third evolution of the legendary Kawai piano touch. The K-3 was one of the most award-winning upright pianos in the history of the piano industry. It was named "Acoustic Piano of the Year" four years in a row by the readers of MMR Magazine. Combining modern material science with innovative new design concepts, Kawai has developed an action with a feel and consistency that is unmatched. The Millennium III Action features several core components that are redesigned with lighter mass and structural enhancements to optimize speed, repetition and control. Every exacting detail of the action was analyzed and adapted to create an intimate interface between the artist and the music. While the key weight is comparable to most other high-end upright actions, the ease of expression is extraordinary. If you are looking for something far more than an entry level instrument this just may be the one for you. Built in Japan in 2007 with a new adjustable artist bench and soft close fallboard so your fingers don’t get pinched. A new K-300 is $14,495 but who wants to pay that. Here is a chance to grab one for far less.
