In Stock! Here’s a rare find for someone. An Estonia 168 grand piano! Every model 168 is a testament to the craftsmanship of Estonia, meticulously crafted with unwavering devotion to a skill that goes back to 1893. From the delicate strokes of the keys to the resonant vibrations that fill the air, this instrument transcends its functional purpose, evolving into a mesmerizing work of art.

In the realm of performance-level pianos, the Estonia 168 is highly regarded, captivating the hearts of discerning musicians and aficionados alike. Its harmonious blend of form and function creates an immersive musical experience that surpasses all expectations, where every stroke of the keys unveils a symphony of possibilities, and allows the Estonia 168 to accompany you on your artistic journey. Built in August of 1999, this Model 168 is quite typical of the breed. At 5’6”, it’s large enough to produce a full billowing sound but not so large as to overwhelm the room.

Tonally, it is a bit of a diva, somewhat complex, a little prissy and reserved, but also elegant, refined and cosmopolitan in nature. If you want to just bang away on something and get a huge, loud racket, well then, come and try one of our Yamaha grands. But if the dreamy, gauzy, lilting sound of a Chopin waltz is your thing, then it doesn’t get any better than this.

Over the decades of their production, much has changed, but precise work by hand, careful selection of materials, and the unchanging romantic sound endure. Estonia utilizes German Renner actions for fluid response and tonal accuracy. Because of this, countless famous performers and well-known personalities have fallen in love with Estonia instruments. Fresh out of the shop where it has received a full voicing, regulating and concert tuning from one of the area’s top technicians (who would be delighted to discuss its merits with you), all of the keys have been hand cleaned and buffed, the mahogany polish gleams, the bright-work has all been hand polished and it comes complete with the original black felt key cover and a matching factory adjustable artist bench.

Scarce as hens’ teeth in this kind of condition and an absolute bargain considering that new ones are $82,489 it won’t last long, trust us on this one.
