In Stock! Here is a rare find for someone: a 2002 Charles Walter Model 1500 Professional Studio Upright. These pianos are built with the utmost attention to detail and maintain the supremacy of the American school of piano manufacturing. Ruggedly designed to meet the most rigid school specifications and long hours of student practice. It is the ideal piano for schools, churches, auditoriums, homes, rectories, professional studios, practice rooms, theatres, colleges, and universities.
Even though it stands 45” high, the model 1500 uses the same length strings as a 5'6"baby grand and has a better sound than most 52" upright pianos. Family-owned and handmade in their Indiana factory, fewer than 1,000 Charles Walter pianos are produced each year, and each one is inspected and signed by a member of the Walter family before being shipped. Beautiful, rich tone and touch are what is on tap here with that typical classic American sound. Featuring an action made in Germany by Langer and premium quality parts throughout, it is a significant step up from most of the Asian upright pianos of this size because it has longer keys and very long strings.
