In Stock! What makes this Yamaha G2 different from all of the rest? Well for starters it is a USA spec model not a “grey market” one like all of the others out there. Secondly it is just back from Japan where it was completely rebuilt using all Yamaha parts. An entirely new action was installed, hammers, shanks, flanges, pins, wire, felts, agraffes, everything. The board was refinished, the plate regilded and the entire piano has been refinished in two coats of gorgeous ebony satin paint. Just look at the pictures and you can see how it turned out. As close to new as you will ever find. It has just received a full voicing, regulating and concert level tuning from one of the area’s top Yamaha technicians. Back in the day, the Yamaha G2 was one of the best-selling grand pianos in the world. They are ideal for the serious player or more advanced performer on a budget, it packs a whole lot of power and muscle into a relatively affordable package. It is extremely hard to find one in this kind of condition and it almost begs to be played. Remember that at 5’ 7” it is big so don’t try and put it in a small area but give it some room to breathe and look out!
